Fire & Emergency

Are you ready for major emergencies? Natural disasters, chemical releases, active shooters, and vehicle crashes get our attention. But how your company prepares for and handles smaller everyday medical emergencies can determine how everyone will respond in a mass casualty event.

An Emergency Action Plan (EAP) organizes management and employee response to life-threatening workplace emergencies. Well-developed EAPs and proper training prevent and mitigate worker injuries as well as reduce facility damage during emergencies. A poorly prepared and executed EAP results in a disorganized evacuation response. This causes confusion, additional injuries, and unnecessary illness (due to chemical, biological and/or radiation exposure), not to mention major property damage and loss.

During this webinar we’ll review a checklist of many of the components of effective EAPs and suggestions for using them during relatively minor regular work incidents to always be prepared.
