Sara Portera

director of organizational development

Sara Portera is the Director of Organizational Development for Workplace Learning System.  She is responsible for leading the Organizational Development segment of the business which specializes in cultural transformation, leadership development and line level associate engagement. Sara joined Workplace Learning System in 2019 and has served clients as a Safety Expert helping develop leadership and line level associates as part of their cultural transformation journey. ​

Sara is a graduate of Columbia Southern University where she earned her degree in Occupational Health and Safety and has a minor in Computer Support.  She has over 12 years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety and more than 20 years of experience in Office Business Management. ​

When not at work, Sara volunteers some of her free time at Feed My Starving Children and at Habitat for Humanity in her community.  She also enjoys reading, learning new things, spending time with her family, going to movies and concerts, and loves all summer outdoor activities.​
